Lucy Howe López is HRI's Project Coordinator and Head Administrator. Lucy brings to the HRI team a broad range of skills including project management, public and media relations, desktop publishing, conference management and administration. At HRI she applies these skills in coordinating our projects, organizing our conferences, preparing reports and newsletters and overseeing office operations.
Prior to joining HRI, Lucy worked in the UK and Peru as well as in Switzerland. She served as a field worker with an international society promoting grassroots development in Peru; was the programme manager for Latin America with an international micro-finance organization in the UK; press officer and assistant editor with a national organization in the UK; and as office manager and editor in an international movement focused on human rights, based in Geneva, Switzerland.
Lucy holds a Bachelor of Divinity degree (BDHons) from Heythrop College, University of London and has completed post-graduate courses in development management; project management; the preparation of proposals; business and strategic plans; and accounting and copy-editing. She is fluent in English, Spanish and French.
