CMBD Members' Meeting
Katherine Hagen, CEO of HRI and Executive Director of the Council for Multilateral Business Diplomacy, is shown here chairing a meeting of the Council membership in HRI's offices. The Council leadership routinely solicits input from members to establish meeting schedules and topics for discussion. Before Council meetings at the offices of international organizations in Geneva, HRI hosts informal gatherings in its Geneva office to discuss the topics of the day, and to review the schedule of future events. In addition, twice each year the membership is invited to attend a Members' Forum to review the Council's program and to engage each other in dialogue on the opportunities for and challenges of interacting with officials in the international organizations.
CMBD Inaugural Event
Ralph Doggett, a Director of the Council, presents a certificate to Dr. Supachai Panitchpakdi, Secretary General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, who is standing on Mr. Doggett's left. Dr. Supachai was the Keynote Speaker at the Inaugural Luncheon, at which he spoke on "The Benefits of Private and Public Sector Cooperation and Partnering". Dr. Katherine Hagen, Executive Director of the Council is standing to Dr. Supachai's left. Mr. James Regan, a Council Director and Senior Vice President of International Business - Government Counsellors, is on Mr. Doggett's right.
